Michelle Thompson has been with the SCU family since 1994. Michelle initially opened up a personal savings and checking account at the main office in Manitowoc when she started a job at Manitowoc Ice. She has stayed a loyal member ever since saying, “I appreciate the member service Shipbuilders gives us and all the friendly people that work there. We visit the Mishicot branch multiple times a week and the ladies treat us more like friends or family members, we certainly don't feel like just a number."

Along with her husband, Barry, the Thompsons own Trendsetters Hair Salon in Mishicot and also another business next door, MT Cup Espresso Café. The café serves as an extension of the hair salon where customers can enjoy not only coffee and espresso drinks but also deli sandwiches, homemade soups and desserts. MT Cup Espresso also caters for special events and has an added feature of a laundromat attached to the coffee shop! Winter business hours for the café located at 524 East Main Street in Mishicot are Monday - Friday: 7am - 2pm, Saturday: 8am - 2pm and Sunday: 8:30am - 1pm.
